アメリカのブラックメタルバンド、Cascadian Lightfall の新アルバム「Fires of Summer」が発売されました。インディペンデントリリースです。
Cascadian Lightfall は Halcyon によるソロプロジェクトで、2017年にデビューアルバム「True Cascadian Winterheart」をリリースしており、本作品は2ndアルバムになります。カバーアートはダークファンタジー、ペイガンアートなどを行う Silvana Massa Art によって手がけられました。
澄んだ美しい自然を思わせるシンセサウンド。アンビエントパートが多く盛り込まれ、ブラックメタルパートでは不穏な霧のようなギターと、しっとりとしたピアノ、呪詛を語るようなボーカルが奏でられます。
